You may well have noticed that many shoe manufacturers and designers put their efforts into creating shoes that are either comfortable or fashionable. This can often be frustrating, particularly since many of us want to buy shoes that offer both style and comfort. We may not think it unreasonable that retailers should be able to meet our requirements.

But when we look at the latest styles that are available, it soon becomes clear that most of the shoes that are being produced are all about the way in which they look, rather than how they'll feel. Can we find better solutions? The positive news here is that a number of manufacturers and retailers have started to look at providing alternative options.
